Stunt guitarist Reeves Gabrels provides much in the way of ambient guitar solos, not unlike Adrian Belew\'s work. Drummer Hunt Sales provides a sticky tenor vocal similar to Bowie\'s own voice in a higher register; they blend very well together. The music is hard-edged guitar rock with an intelligence missing from much of the work of that genre at the time.$

As the officer expires, he tells the outlaw about a cache of gold hidden in his blind father\'s home. The enterprising thief takes the dead man\'s clothes and tricks the father and his housekeeper into believing that he is the son. He is just about ready to begin looking for the gold when an outlaw gang comes to town and forces him to help them rob an army payroll wagon. He then tries to abscond with the loot. The bandits torture him, shoot him, and leave him for dead. Then they shoot the blind father. The hero gets better and gets grisly revenge upon the outlaws. He saves a special treat for the gang leader. First he uses mud to blind him. Then he puts a gun in his hand and kills him. With screenplay writer Franco Rossetti (Django amongst others) moved himself successfully into the directing chair, but it remained his only spaghetti western. It is a well made film which tells a brutish story in a gritty and violent way.$

$Watch Queensryche: Operation Livecrime Fmovies-To Queensryche fans, Operation: Mindcrime is the hard-rock equivalent of Pink Floyd\'s The Wall in its ambition, scope, and theatrical pomp. This 1991 filming of the band\'s live presentation of the album is no substitute for its electrifying stage show, but as filmed concerts go, it\'s a pretty good replacement. Visually, director Wayne Isham and his editor Jeff Richter do their best to keep up with the multimedia production: films, lighting, cued sounds, and dialogue are as important to Operation: Livecrime as the music. But enough of the convoluted story comes through to allow even the uninitiated to follow it. Musically, the band is in top form, especially singer Geoff Tate, who seems to hit notes most rock singers didn\'t even know existed.$
